1. Introduction

Welcome to Mneme ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our service at getmneme.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Mneme provides AI memory management services, including but not limited to:

  • Persistent memory storage for AI assistants
  • Memory retrieval and organization tools
  • Integration with third-party AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT)
  • API access for developers (Pro and Team tiers)

3. Account Terms

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

4. Subscription Tiers

Free Tier

  • Up to 50 memories
  • Web UI and ChatGPT integration access
  • No API access

Pro Tier

  • Up to 10,000 memories
  • Full feature access including Memory Insights
  • API access with up to 3 API keys

Team Tier

  • Up to 100,000 memories
  • All Pro features plus team collaboration
  • API access with up to 10 API keys

5. API Usage Terms

API access is available to Pro and Team subscribers. By using our API, you agree to the following additional terms:

5.1 Rate Limits

  • Request limit: 100 requests per minute per API key
  • Daily limit: 10,000 requests per day per API key
  • Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary throttling or suspension

5.2 Acceptable Use

  • API keys are for your use only and must not be shared publicly
  • Do not use the API to store illegal, harmful, or abusive content
  • Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures
  • Do not use automated tools to scrape or extract data in bulk
  • Do not resell API access without explicit written permission

5.3 API Key Security

  • You are responsible for keeping your API keys secure
  • Revoke compromised keys immediately via the Settings page
  • We are not liable for unauthorized use of your API keys
  • Do not commit API keys to public repositories

5.4 Service Level

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee specific uptime percentages. The API is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the API with reasonable notice.

6. Data and Privacy

Your memories and data are stored securely and are not shared with third parties except as required to provide the Service. You retain ownership of your data. You may export or delete your data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.

7. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our data retention policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mneme shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
